On Sunday 4 September Helen Edwin and her family gathered at St James’ to give thanks for the marriage of her daughter, Estefan, in a traditional Ghanaian engagement ceremony the day before. The communion service was led by Rev Abigail Adetayo who preached and prayed encouraging words over the family. Everyone joined in singing and dancing to a traditional African song Unto the Lord be the glory sung by Monika Agyemang.
