In our churches we seek to care for one another by staying in touch through the week.

We have our own Facebook page and WhatsApp group for sharing news and requests for prayer and practical support. None of us need be lonely or unsupported. We need one another. We are not alone.

Christine Price, the School Liaison Officer works closely with our primary school offering pastoral support and leading the school’s Wednesday morning assemblies in St James’ church.

Our Food Bank in association with the Trussell Trust

The St James’ Food Bank was a mission initiative started in November 2004 by our then readers, Jenny and David Sagi. We welcome clients every Monday afternoon and the need has never been greater.

We have a good band of volunteers helping on Mondays. Most make it every Monday, but some can only make it occasionally. We are very grateful and thank them for their time and effort in supporting this necessary cause. A special thanks to Val for all that she does in keeping us organised and doing all the paper and online records.
